BP and Iberdrola have formed a 50:50 JV to build a 25MW hydrogen project in Spain, with the unit to be operational in 2H26, the firms said, cited by Bloomberg. 

  • BP has already taken an FID on the project, with the plant awarded €15mn of funding from the EU.
  • The plant will be located near BP’s Castellon Refinery.
