POWER: DTEK to Recieve Funding from EC, US to Rebuild 1.8GW of Power

Ukraine’s DTEK is set to receive €62.8mn from the EC and $46.1mn from the U.S. government to restore 1.8GW of its generation capacity, which was heavily damaged in Russian attacks, it said. 

  • The European Commission funds will be used for equipment and materials.
  • The U.S. funds will be allocated to control systems and dozens of new transformers.
