Finland’s Fingrid is not anticipating any power supply shortages this winter even in the case of a cold spell, it said, cited by Bloomberg. 

  • Fingrid expects power supply to be sufficient even during a cold spell and less windy periods.
  • Power consumption in Finland may peak at 15GW during cold spells this winter, with domestic power production expected to be able to cover 12GW.
