France increased its CBC capacity in the direction of Belgium for delivery in October compared to Sept, while the capacity in the other direction decreased on the JAO auction. The auction results are expected on 19 September.

  • In the France-Belgium direction 557MW is on offer, up from 489MW offered for September – which went at €12.07/MWh.
  • In the other direction, 375MW is on offer for October, down by 25MW in the previous month's auction – which cleared at €1.37/MWh.
  • The French October power base-load contract settled at €59.08/MWh on 17 September, at a €8.42/MWh discount to the Belgian market.
