POWER: France Q4 Power Tracks 6% Weekly Fall

France front-quarter power is edging higher with gains in the EU natural gas market but is tracking a 5.7% weekly net decline amid losses in the energy complex and limited early heating demand expectations.

  • TTF Gas OCT 24 up 1.5% at 35.71 EUR/MWh
  • Nuclear availability in France increased to 74% of capacity on Friday morning, up from 73% of capacity the day before, RTE data showed, cited by Reuters.
