POWER: Lithuania's Igrnitis Mulls Possible Bid in 700MW Offshore Wind Tender

Lithuania's state-owned energy company, Ignitis Group, is still considering joining Lithuania’s second 700MW offshore wind tender held in November, according to CEO Darius Maikstenas, cited by BNS. 

  • "We are looking [into] it. As we do not have the full terms and conditions yet, we don’t have a final answer,” Maikstenas added.
  • Poland’s Orlen is also considering taking part.
  • The firm is planning to have atleast three wind farms installed in Baltics Sea, with its projects in Estonian waters completed after 2032 and in Lithuania by 2030, according to Ignitis.
