POWER: Lithuania Solar, Wind Capacity Reaches 3GW

Lithuania’s operational solar and wind capacity has reached 3GW, with an additional 325MW of wind connected by the end of the year, latest data from Litgrid show.

  • Currently, 1.12GW of wind and 212MW of PV are connected to the domestic transmission network.
  • Additionally, 193MW of wind and 1.49GW of PV is connected to the distribution system.
  • Letters of intent have been signed for 4GW of solar, of these, 3.9 GW can develop production and 0.8GW have been prepared.
