POWER: Poland’s URE Gets 2.8TWh in September CHP Auction

Polish energy regulator URE has awarded around PLN775mn (€181mn) of support in its CHP premium September auction for 2.8TWh of generation, it said.

  • The support was given to six companies, however, the amount of support given is minimal compared to the PLN3.7bn on offer.
  • URE will launch its final fourth CHP auction this year between 2-20 December.
