POWER: Sunly Eyes 1.3GW of Baltic, Poland Renewables

Estonian firm Sunly will accelerate the deployment of 1.3GW of wind, solar, hybrid projects and battery storage in Poland and the Baltics after having secured €300mn in financing, it said, cited by ISB News.

  • The new capital will allow Sunly to begin construction of the 50MW Borzęcin and 50MW Brzegi farms in Poland.
  • The firm has built over 227MW or renewable capacity in Poland and the Baltics, with 373MW under construction. It plans to have built 4.6GW of renewable capacity by 2030.
