POWER: Swedish Firm Advances  5TWh Offshore Wind Project

Swedish Landinfra Energy has inched closer to commissioning its over 5TWh, or about 570MW, Falkenberg-Halmstad offshore wind farm in Sweden as it has started the consultation phase.

  • The unit will have 50-80 turbines, the firm added.
  • After the consultation, it will start the EIA and permitting process – which will take up to three years.
  • Landinfra’s portfolio consists of 5GW of onshore renewable energy projects and 10GW of offshore wind projects in various stages of development in the Nordics.
