POWER: TenneT To Split Dutch and German Business in 2025

Tennet said on Tuesday it plans to separate its businesses in the Netherlands and in Germany from 1 January 2025 in order to sell the German arm of the business.  

  • TenneT is still considering a spin off or sell of the stake in its German division after the sale to the German government fell through earlier this year, the firm said previously, cited by Reuters.
  • Last month, the Dutch government said it plans to continue only finance TSO TenneT’s activities in the Netherlands and it will decide on the form of the financing in spring next year.
