President Petro In Davos, Govt & ELN Talks To Restart

    • Tweeting yesterday, President Petro said he would resign before raising the retirement age. The current retirement age for women in Colombia is 57 and for men 62.
    • The government is expected to send a pension reform to Congress in the first half of this year.
  • Additionally today, Colombia’s government and the National Liberation Army guerrilla group, known as ELN, meet in Caracas to restart talks.
