Pretty quiet in the early going.....>

US TSYS SUMMARY
US TSYS SUMMARY: Pretty quiet in the early going Monday, with minimal
data/speaker catalysts and all eyes on the ECB Thursday (and Fed next week).
- Of course, Fedspeak is shut down this week in the pre-FOMC blackout period.
Ended with a bang, though, with Boston Fed's Rosengren signalling no support for
a cut next week (and WSJ article implying same for FOMC as a whole).
- Short end of ED strip continues to weaken, Whites -1.0/1.5 ticks. 50bps cut
next week still partially priced in though (25% per CME).
- Sep 10-Yr futures (TY) steady at at 127-17 (L: 127-11 / H: 127-18).
- Tsy curve is flatter, following through from Friday's post-Rosengren comments.
2-Yr yield is up 0.2bps at 1.8206%, 5-Yr is down 0.5bps at 1.8097%, 10-Yr is
down 1.6bps at 2.0395%, and 30-Yr is down 2.3bps at 2.5567%.
- Little reaction to weekend headlines pointing to some thawing of U.S.-China
talks, incl Chinese firms to buy U.S. agriculture products.
- Thin slate of data today; only Chicago Fed index (1330ET).
