Tsy futures holding gains, Bonds near highs ahead the $17B 20Y-Note auction (912810TH1) at the top of the hour. WI is currently running around 3.292%, appr 19.7bp cheap to last month's high yield. April recap:

    • Tsy futures gapped higher (30YY fell to 2.8874% low) after strong $16B 20Y note auction reopen (912810TF5) stopped through with 3.095% high yield vs. 3.120% WI; 2.80x bid-to-cover vs. last month's 2.72x.
    • Indirect take-up climbed to new high of 75.94% vs. 64.39% in March; direct bidder take-up fell to 15.32% vs. 26.03% prior, primary dealer take-up fell to 8.74% vs. 9.59%.
  • Timing: The 20Y note results will be available shortly after the competitive auctions closes at 1300ET.
