FOREX: Price action across the developed FI space was limited overnight, as
markets Wednesday's news flow and awaited fresh risk developments.
- T-Notes last 123.26, hovering just above unchanged levels. U.S. cash Tsy
yields are trading unch. to 0.5bp higher across the curve, with the 10-year
yield last at 2.470%. Eurodollar contracts last seen 0.25 tick lower to 0.5 tick
higher through the reds.
- JGB futures last deal at 152.97, 2 ticks above settlement. Cash yields are
trading 0.7bp lower to 0.2bp higher across the curve. Worth noting Japanese MoF
sold Y498.6bn of 15.5-39 Year JGBs in a liquidity enhancement auction today.
- Aussie bond yields last trade 1.5bp lower to 0.2bp higher, with the longer end
of the curve outperforming. YM is unchanged at 98.600, XM trades 1.5 tick higher
at 98.135, while YM/XM edged lower and last sits at 46.50. Bills are trading 1-2
ticks lower through the reds. Worth noting Australian consumer inflation exp.
came in at +3.9% vs. the prior +4.1%. Elsewhere, Australian PM Morrison has
called the federal election for May 18, as expected.
- Bunds trade -0.07 at 165.82, Bobls -0.02 at 133.100, Schatz -0.005 at 111.940.
