HUNGARY: Profit Curbs Kick in Monday
HUNGARY
- Profit curbs levied on basic good items from groceries could be expanded further should retailers not comply with the rules - the curbs kick in from today, limiting profits to 10% on items ranging from flour to pork.
- At his address on Saturday, Orban again voiced his opposition to Ukraine's accession to the European Union, which would come at the cost of Hungary. He also reiterated that he would oppose joint defence financing for the EU.
