Prospera survey encouraging for the Riksbank

  • This is the quarterly survey which also includes labour market parties and purchasing managers as well as money market players.
  • Versus the last monthly survey of money market players the one year CPIF expectation has fallen from 3.7% in May to 3.3% (down 0.8ppt from March) with 2 year stable at 2.3% (stable since March) and 5 year at 2.1% (also stable since March).
  • For the wider survey group versus March, the one year CPIF expectation has fallen from 4.8% to 4.0% (down 0.8ppt from March) with 2 year stable at 2.3% (from 2.3% in March) and 5 year at 2.1% (stable since March).
  • So overall this will be encouraging reading for the Riksbank.
