PSPP Weekly Net Buys Slow On Sizeable Redemptions

ECB

ECB net asset purchases picked up to the highest since mid-May in the week to 17 Jun, to E3.3bln (E1.8bln prior).

  • This was led by E1.2bln in net PEPP purchases (up from contractions the prior two weeks, despite another E3.2bln in redemptions).
  • PSPP net buys slowed to a 3-week low E0.9bln and were eclipsed by E1.0bln in CSPP net purchases.
  • But that reflects a large E5.2bln of PSPP redemptions in the week.
  • Covered Bond and ABS were flat.
