Putin, Lavrov Both Set to Meet Global Leaders

  • CPI data out late yesterday showed March CPI broadly inline with expectations at 0.39% vs. Exp. 0.40% and 7.72% Y/Y vs. Exp. 7.70%.
  • Ukraine’s Naftogaz reports that Russia have launched attacks against two gas storage facilities in Ukraine, however both facilities will continue operating after the strikes.
  • Putin is set to meet Lukashenko of Belarus later today, while foreign minister Lavrov holds talks with various political leaders across the BRICS. Nabiullina of the CBR is set to attend a conference with the Association of Russian Banks, along with the deputy finance minister Chebeskov.
