ECB: Q: Question on disagreements on nuances in package and this week's data
impact.
- A: Nuances on package were mostly to do with what the ECB should do first - no
exclusion of any instrument. ECB wants to see next staff projections before
deciding on action.
Q: Are they looking at systems of tiering in other countries? Does ECB exclude
possibility of extra assets being added to APP?
- A: Experience of other country's central bank is important re tiering but in
hands of the committee.
Q: Question on whether symmetry is a formal change by the ECB? Also question on
discussion of size of cut or types of assets to be bought?
- A: Answer to the latter is no.
