The average firm in the S&P 500 has beaten forecast on EPS by 4.3%, while beating revenue expectations by 1.1%. Industrials, communication services and energy are the strongest performing sectors vs. forecast, while real estate, consumer discretionary and utilities sectors have performed most poorly.
