US DATA PREVIEW: Q2 GDP SECOND ESTIMATE - Thursday 08:30 ET

--Q2 GDP expected to be revised down to +2.0% vs +2.1% advance est, according to
MNI survey of analysts. 
--Q2 PCE may be revised higher from advance est of +4.3% due to strong retail
sales, services spending. 
--Offsetting that, business spending on IP, equipment expected to fall on trade
tensions. Nonresidential fixed investment and inventory accumulation are also
expected to remain soft. Real exports, down 5.2% Q/Q in advance est, likely to
be revised down due to trade war escalations, slowing global economy. 
--Little of note expected for the Fed, with growth pretty much in line with its
latest 2019 forecast.
