SWEDEN: Q3 GDP is due for release at 8:30GMT with 5/15 analysts in the Bloomberg
survey looking for -0.2% or lower and 10/15 looking for +0.2% or higher and no
one forecasting in the -0.1% to +0.1% range.
- EURSEK has been moving lower over recent days and a release to the topside of
expectations would likely see EURSEK fall below yesterday's low of 10.25 and
bring the Nov 13 low of 10.2104 into focus. A disappointing miss would likely
see EURSEK move back above 10.30 with resistance likely to be found around the
200-dma at 10.3360.
- A downside surprise should have a larger impact on FRAs and rate expectations
with a downside surprise having the potential to reduce the 50/50 probability of
a Dec hike, but an upside surprise not likely to be enough to confirm a hike.
See POV: Upside risks to Swedish FRAs on 26-Nov at 13:32 GMT.
