LNG
Qatar has increased output from its LNG facilities during 2022 to maximise revenues from record high prices, especially in Europe. Most additional exports have been shipped to Europe, where Qatar has been generating record export revenues.
- Qatar exports were traditionally directed towards Asian markets, but this year has seen a significant rise in exports to Europe. Latest government statistics show that Europe accounted for 28% of Qatar’s record export revenues for Q3 2022.
