US TSY FLOWS: *** Quiet end to the week w/FOMC, BOE and ECB policy announcements
in the rear view mirror, Tsy futures trading mildly weaker, near middle narrow
overnight range on light volume (TYH<200k); curves adding to Thu's flattening to
new 10+ yr lows (2s10s -.480, 52.943; 5s30s -.525, 56.096). US$ mildly weaker
vs. Yen (112.20), equities firmer (emini +6.0, 2662.0), gold stronger (XAU
+4.79, 1257.72), oil firmer (WTI +.33, 57.37).
- Asia, Tsys resumed trade near steady in Asia, gradually drifting lower into
London crossover, light two-way position squaring flow into weekend.
- London, Tsys drifted higher following modest bid for Gilts in early London
trade, Tsys holding to narrow range. Desks alert for pension rebalancing, asset
allocation flows.
- Swaps, spds running steady/mixed, spd curve mildly flatter in the short end.
Light overnight flow includes small <$100k 2s3s5s fly, paying the belly, mixed
curve interest w/ 10s20s steepener ($158.1k DV01) after 5s8s flattener ($109.5k
DV01).
- Eurodollar futures, mildly lower across strip, light volume, EDZ7 leads w/87k.
