EURO-DOLLAR: Rate extends the day's decline, finding no comfort in the EU
downgrades to Italian growth forecasts (although this was largely inline with
expectations) as EU's Moscovici highlights that the economic slowdown in Europe
is to be more pronounced than expected, with "considerable uncertainty"
surrounding Italian fiscal policy. EUR/USD touches $1.1333 as bears set their
sights on $1.1290, the Jan24 low. A break below here would open $1.1270 and the
November lows down at $1.1217, which marked the lowest EURUSD rate since
mid-2017.
