Rates See Some Reprieve Post-Duma Elections, Now Face FOMC Risks

RUSSIA
  • Local & USD rates trade little changed around the open, having gained back some ground in yesterday's session after the Monday sell-off.
  • The local OFZ curve bull flattening -4-6bp on the day, with 10-15Y yields leading the way lower.
  • 10Y yields bounced off 7.20 resistance, but still retain their near-term uptrend as the FOMC meeting approaches today.
  • Near term support stands at 7.10 & 7.05. Attention will be on weekly CPI data for signs of moderation after a flat print last week.
