RBA-Dated OIS Little Changed Vs. Post-CPI Levels As We Move Into RBA Decision

STIR

RBA-dated OIS pricing is little changed vs. levels seen in the wake of the firmer than expected Q4 CPI data (which pointed to increasing domestic inflationary pressure), although there has been plenty of two-way trade in that time, with spill over from market pricing surrounding the major global central banks in the driving seat in that window. A 25bp step at today’s meeting is fully priced, alongside a terminal cash rate of ~3.75%.
