The FCC at Motiva’s 626,000 bpd Port Arthur, Texas refinery was back to normal operations on Monday according to Reuters sources. 

  • Motiva was in the process of switching pumps on the 81,000-bpd FCC when the unit malfunctioned, the sources said.
  • Motiva was forced to shut the FCC and cut rates on other units on October 16 after losing power at two steam generators a Bloomberg source previously said.
