Polish refiner Orlen counters other European refiners in recent weeks and said there are “no grounds for limiting throughput,” at its refineries despite a gradual reduction in margins after speaking with Bloomberg.

  • “Given the current margins, refineries in Europe are not curtailing their throughput” Orlen said after reports companies like Eni and Repsol are making significant run cuts on weak margins.
  • Refining margins “remain at a satisfactory level and the macroeconomic environment in the refining segment remains propitious,” the company said.
