STOCKS: Regional Asia-Pacific stocks struggled on Monday.
- The Nikkei 225 was pressured by the stronger JPY, losing over 1.0%, as
consumer discretionary & telecoms names moved lower.
- Hong Kong's Hang Seng printed marginal losses as the health care and IT
sectors languished, although the energy & telecoms sectors provided a degree of
support.
- China's CSI 300 lost 0.3%.
- Australia's ASX 200 shed 0.8%, with energy the only sector to trade higher.
- U.S. index futures registered modest losses.
