EURO-STERLING: Remained close to its 10-dma through the Asian session
(Gbp0.8528) but seen trying to edge away to retest its early Asia high of
Gbp0.8535 as demand emerges in early Europe. Move has cable pressing back on
$1.3000, making a show below at writing and looking set to retest the earlier
Asian low of $1.2996. EUR/GBP resistance above Gbp0.8535 seen at Monday's high
of Gbp0.8553, stronger into Gbp0.8580. Topside of the 1.0% 10-dma currently
comes through at Gbp0.8613.  
- UK Employment/Earnings data at 0930GMT but main focus remains on Friday's
flash PMI's. BOE Carney makes an appearance in Davos.
