Rinban Eyed

JGBS

JGB futures a little softer after the elongated weekend, with some focus
on the upcoming round of 10-25 Year Rinban ops, given the solid take up
at recent JGB auctions. The breakdown of the ops (released during the
Tokyo lunch break) will be scrutinised. Contract last -7 with yields a
touch richer between the 2 & 5 Year benchmarks, marginally cheaper
further back.

  • Swaps generally wider across the curve.
  • Final local Q1 CapEx data was notably weaker than flash, while the
summary of opinions from the BoJ's most recent decision held no surprises.
