REFINING

Rosneft's Tuapse oil refinery has resumed oil processing, according to Reuters sources, after damage by fire in January following a Ukrainian drone strike.

  • The export-oriented refinery completed repair works at the 250kbpd primary oil refining unit CDU-12 at the end of April.
  • Rosneft said oil processing volumes at Tuapse amounted to 20k metric toms (146.6kbpd) on May 1.
  • In late April, the Tuaspe refinery was reported by Bloomberg as the only facility hit by Ukrainian drones that was still completely offline.
