Ruling Party Doubts It Will Access EU Funds Before Election

  • Poland’s ruling party is growing increasingly doubtful that the European Union will release the country’s share of post-pandemic funds before elections next year, according to an official familiar with leadership’s thinking (BBG).
  • Final July CPI print will be released today at 10am CET (prelim came in a 15.5%).
  • EURPLN has been retracing higher in the past two days after finding support at 4.6650 yesterday; the pair is currently trading back above the 100DMA and 61.8% Fibo support lines.
    • ST resistance to watch on the topside stands at 4.70.
    • On the downside, key support to watch stands at 4.6520 (200DMA).
