Russia Confident of Markets in the East Absorbing Its Oil Flows

Growing markets in the East will be able to “absorb” Russian oil supply as it relies on those markets as an outlet longer term according to Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.

  • He added that Russia is not fearful of relying on a handful of nations to take its oil - "I do not see such threats at all. I've already said that China and India are expanding rapidly. They can absorb supply from numerous OPEC+ member countries.” Lavrov said.
