Russia Considers Limiting Fuel Exporters

Russia is considering limiting the number of companies permitted to export oil products to cut down on illegal exports of fuels meant for domestic use, according to Reuters.

  • According to Tass, the Russian Energy Ministry will tackle “gray” gasoline exports, and is considering preparing a list of fuel exporters.
  • The draft document on restricting the export of gasoline involves introducing a closed list of refineries permitted to supply fuel for export according to Kommersant.
