Russia Could Cut Exports From Western Ports By 625kbpd In March

Russia could reduce Urals exports from the western ports of Primorsk, Ust-Luga and Novorossiisk by 625kbpd, equivalent to 25% of its usual exports from the ports, if confirmed by Transneft and agreed by oil accompanies, Reuters sources said.

  • Transneft had informed at least two oil firms they would be allocated 20-25% fewer cargoes than they had previously asked for in March from Western ports, sources said.
  • The cuts from the ports will be around 25% of February volumes although some adjustments could still be made, sources added.
