Russia Crude Flows to China at 100m tons and India at 70m tons: Transneft

Russian crude oil flows to China were about 100m tons in 2023 while shipments to India reached about 70m tons according to Transneft CEO Nikolay Tokarev.

  • An additional 7m tons of crude of shipments will be possible from the Pacific port of Kozmino after repairs to the railway station Gruzovaya.
  • The planned launch of the oil intake point Achinskaya in the Irkutsk region during the first half of 2024 will enable the transport of an extra 7m tons via railways to China and to the Kozmino port.
  • Russia oil supplies have commenced to Egypt, Morocco, Myanmar and Pakistan.
  • Czech Republic and Slovakia are looking to maintain Russian crude imports via the southern Druzhba pipeline with requests to the EU.
