Russia’s crude processing rates rose to 5.53mb/d during Dec. 1-18, according to a Bloomberg source.

  • The rate increased by about 185kb/d from the average for most of November.
  • If runs maintain this level for the rest of December, it will hit the highest since July 2023.
  • Runs rose to 5.62mb/d in Dec. 12-18 up 128kb/d from the previous week although data doesn’t cover any potential disruption from the fire at the Novoshakhtinsk oil refinery following a drone attack on Dec. 19.
