    • Analysts described the move as military posturing, while Belarusian military officials said the measures are an adequate response to the evolving situation.
  • EU officials have called to widen sanctions on Belarus by as early as next week for causing a migrant crisis and have called on Russia to exert its influence on Lukashenko.
    • Polish officials have also accused Moscow of conducting an "operation" on the EU border
  • FM Spox Zakharova says the statement from Ukraine gives the appearance that it is working towards a settlement in the Donbass, but Moscow doesn't hold any hope for this to actually materialise through a meeting of the specialised subgroups. Meetings held yesterday failed to produce results with Kiev unwilling to discuss key issues.
    • The LPR delegation says this "leaves little hope for constructiveness from Ukraine in upcoming negotiations"
