RUSSIA
  • RUSSIA EXPELS SOME U.S. DIPLOMATS - WSJ
  • Russia ordered U.S. Embassy staff who have been in Moscow for more than three years to leave the country by Jan. 31, in the latest round of tit-for-tat expulsions between Washington and Moscow.
  • Foreign ministry officials indicated that the move was in retaliation for Washington’s expulsion of more than 50 Russian diplomats, 27 of whom are scheduled to depart the U.S. with their families by Jan. 30, and an equal number who would leave by June 30, according to Anatoly Antonov, Russia’s ambassador to the U.S.
