Russia Intends to Deliver 80% of Crude to "Friendly Countries"

Russia intends to deliver 80% of its crude and 75% of oil products to “friendly countries” in 2023 according to Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak.

  • Russia do not intend to supply oil or oil products to countries adhering by price caps.
  • Russian refinery throughput fell 3% y/y to 272m tons in 2022.
  • Gasoline production rose 4.4% to 42.6m tons.
  • Diesel output rose 6% to 85m tons.
