Russia May Boost Military Response to Western Missile Threats

    • Comes after EU's Borrell expressed "unwavering support for Kiev" in line with concerns over Russian troop movements around Ukraine after Ukraine accused Moscow of amassing thousands of military personnel on its northern & eastern borders as well as the Crimean Peninsula.

  • Putin signs a law allowing himself to run for president again on Monday – allowing the current head of state to contest the presidency twice. Also decrees that citizens younger than 35 or residents of less than 25 years may not run
