Russia's Novorossiisk Oil Loadings Resumed Dec 3

Oil loadings from Russia's Black Sea port of Novorossiisk resumed after a storm on Dec. 3 according to Reuters sources early Monday.

  • “Crude oil exports and transit from Novorossiisk had been suspended since Dec. 1.” Reuters reported.
  • CPC oil exports continued over the weekend and Monday according to the sources.
  • Oil shipments at CPC resumed on Friday from two single point moorings, while a damaged third SPM has been taken out of service according to reports.
  • Russia's Black Sea ports are working on Monday as weather conditions permit according to a Ministry of Transport statement.
  • Black Sea terminals have been working intermittently since the end of November due to weather impacting Kazakh and Russian shipments.
  • Kazakhstan’s daily oil and gas condensate output rose to 230.5k tons on 3 December according to energy ministry data. It had been hit by an inability to export at points last week. Output was at 218.9k tons on 2 December, at 204.9k tons on 1 December and at 153.1k tons on 30 November.
