Russian Crude from Baltic Ports to Increase 50% Dec to Jan

Total Russian crude exports from the three western ports are set to be the highest since June at 9.46m tons (2.24mbpd) in January according to a loading program compiled by port agents.

  • Urals exports from the Baltic ports in Jan will be 50% higher than Dec. Exports from Primorsk are increasing from 2.5m to 4.2m tons and Ust-Luga from 2.3m to 3m tons.
  • Of the total 7.2m Baltic exports 6.1m will be from Russian and 0.3m from Kazakhstan with the remaining cargoes not known.
  • Crude exports from the Black Sea port of Novorossiysk will be 2.26m tons compared to 2.38m tons in Dec.
