Russian Diesel Exports Fall to Lowest Since December

The ten day average of exports of Russian diesel-type fuel dropped to the lowest since December to an average of about 840kb/d according to Bloomberg citing Kpler data.

  • Russian diesel exports remain in focus as Ukrainian drone attacks on Russian oil refineries and energy infrastructure continue.
  • Russian air defences had thwarted an attempted Ukrainian attack on Tatneft’s 360kbpd Taneco oil refinery in the region of Tatarstan on Tuesday morning, Russian officials said, cited by Reuters.
  • Last week FGE estimated Russian refinery runs to drop by around 330kb/d year on year in 1H 2024.
  • Russia is planning to reduce diesel exports from its Baltic and Black Sea ports to 569kbpd as crude-processing rates fell to a 10-month low due to drone attacks and seasonal maintenance.

    • EU Gasoil-Brent up 0.6$/bbl at 21.36$/bbl
