Russian LNG Output Set to Double

Russia should reach 66 million tonnes of LNG output per year in the coming years based on projects under construction according to Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak.

  • "According to the implemented projects, production today is about 33 million tonnes. Taking into account the projects under construction, the plants in Ust-Luga and Arctic LNG 2, Russia should produce 66 million tonnes of LNG per year.” he said.
  • Longer term, Russia intends to hit 100 million tonnes of LNG output per year he said.
