Russian Oil Exports Dipped 3.3% in 2023

Russian oil exports last year fell by 3.3%, Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said.

  • Crude oil and condensate exports fell by 0.9% on the year to 530.6mn tons in 2023.
  • Primary crude processing rates increased by 1.2% to 275mn tons.
  • Diesel production rose by 3.5% to 88.1mn tons and gasoline output increased by 3.1% to 43.9mn tons.
  • Diesel and gasoline supplies to the domestic market rose by 17% and 7% respectively last month amid Russia’s pledge to lower crude oil and oil products exports.
