Russian Oil Exports Fall Inline With OPEC+ Commitments

Russia’s crude exports in early 2024 are inline with OPEC+ commitments according to Bloomberg vessel tracking.

  • Russia exported about 3.34 mn bpd of crude from its ports in the four weeks to Jan. 7 – down 120,000 bpd from the period to Dec. 31.
  • Weekly flows fell by 500,000 bpd to 3.28mn bpd – 300,000 bpd below May-June levels last year – the baseline for cuts.
  • Russia has pledged 500,000 bpd oil and oil product export cuts during Q1 2024 versus last year’s May-June average.
